Health & fitness calculators

The health section gathers the calculators most useful for tracking everyday wellness: Body Mass Index, Basal Metabolic Rate, daily calorie targets, ideal body weight, body-fat percentage, water intake, age, pregnancy and ovulation timing, and sleep cycles.

These calculators use widely accepted formulas — WHO BMI categories, the Mifflin-St Jeor BMR equation, US Navy body-fat method, Naegele's rule for due dates and similar references — and they produce estimates, not diagnoses. They are useful for self-tracking and for understanding the numbers your doctor or trainer might use.

When to use these tools: Use these tools to check your BMI category, plan a calorie target for weight loss or gain, estimate hydration needs, or work out a likely due date or fertile window. For medical decisions, always consult a qualified health professional.

Common questions

About BMI Calculator on CalculatorPoint.

What is BMI?
Body Mass Index is weight in kilograms divided by height in metres squared. It is a population-level screening measure used to classify underweight, normal, overweight and obesity ranges.
Does BMI apply to everyone?
BMI can misclassify very muscular people, older adults, some ethnic groups and pregnancy. It is one screening tool among many—not a substitute for a doctor’s assessment.
Which BMI categories does this tool use?
It follows commonly used WHO-style adult cut-offs shown near the results. Children and teens use different charts not covered here.
Is this medical advice?
No. For health decisions, diet or treatment, consult a qualified healthcare professional.
